A Personal Travel Planner

ABOUT ME

Hi!  I'm Jen.  My mission in life is to explore. From large cities to super remote trekking adventures, quite simply, I want to see and experience it all; the culture, the food, the wine, the divey pub down the road, the remote campsite with a killer view.

One of my favorite parts of traveling is planning and researching new locations to find unique experiences that my family, friends and I will remember for a lifetime.  I find great joy and inspiration in the travel planning process and would love to utilize my passion and skills to help you plan your dream adventure.

About

RESEARCH

A personal travel planner does all the research and planning of the trip for you. I'll build a trip based on your personal preferences, family composition and special needs.

PROPOSAL

Accommodation, attractions, transportation, restaurants, and maps, are all provided. You will get a detailed file that includes all the information according to day and time. All that you need to do is sign-off and pack.

BOOKING

Anyone can book a hotel, but putting together a vacation takes time. The idea is to maximize your time and money instead of wasting it on an attraction you didn't know was closed or a hotel that looks beautiful only in pictures.

ENJOY

That's it. Just enjoy your trip. I've taken care of all the details, accessible right on your phone.

France &
California

My areas of expertise.

The two places I enjoy visiting and planning for the most (in addition to my current location in Tucson, AZ) are France and California.  Both have mountains, oceans, small towns, large cities, amazing food, and an abundance of hidden gems for travelers to find.  I can use my knowledge and experience in these areas to help you find experiences that your family, your friends, and you will remember for a lifetime.

I've planed, trained, and automobiled my way around France a number of times to visit Paris, the Dordogne, Nice, the Loire Valley, and any castle I could find.  My favorite memory was on a trip I planned with my Mom in Paris.  For lunch, we decided to grab some cheese, fresh figs, and a bottle of rose from a small market and enjoy them in Luxembourg Garden on a sunny autumn day.  I'm currently planning my next adventure in France to trek from the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea along the Haute Route in the Pyrenees.  I'll also be attempting this month-long journey with my 8 year old son and my husband.  We'll see how this goes!

I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for 12 years and took the opportunity to thoroughly explore the state.  My favorite area to visit is the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  I've trekked the John Muir Trail a few times, spent a lot of time in and around Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe.  One of my favorite memories was when we were returning from a camping weekend near Tahoe. We took a random road that led us through a small 4th of July parade where the town walked on bubble wrap as the parade finale.   My second favorite area to visit is the Big Sur/Ventana Wilderness area.  Rustic beauty paired with amazing restaurants shoe-horned into every nook and cranny.  We'd go on an overnight trek to a hot spring and then exit at a five star restaurant where they happily welcomed  us with food and wine even though we were fresh off the trail.  My favorite memory in this area was when my husband proposed to me on a purple sand beach and after I "said yes"  we headed out to celebrate at a cozy, local restaurant.  My third favorite area...  I could go on and on with this one, but let's just say there are a lot of amazing wine areas to visit :)
