GENERAL DEFINITIONS
Tours: Most people picture someone holding a stick that you follow around in a big group. However, there are ones tailored for a certain service level, specific locations, different focuses, and cater to all sizes of groups. Most of these are guided, but some refer independent travel in a certain region as "a tour". For example, a tour of Switzerland might be all your hotels, lodging, and activities included, but it all be self guided.
FIT (Fully Independent Travel): Travellers who prefer no guide. You can book "independent tours" or packages.
Packages: Same as above, but always unguided. These can be pieced together from a company and you propose it as a full package. On the other hand, you can piece it together for a more custom trip.
ABERCROMBIE AND KENT

This company offers guided travel in small groups (generally less than 24 people). It focuses on authentic experiences with local guides and those experiences that will break most people's budget.
They have tours on land, safari's, cruises, and tours via private jet (cap of 48 people).
Also, this company has trips focuses on who's going. Solo travel, multi-generational families, and culturally minded groups all have a place here.

None of these are guided. These are perfect for your FIT clients.
Avanti offers these packages in Europe, Asia, North Africa, Central America, and South America.
Heads up: they did NOT play well during COVID.

These guys are the small group experts.
This company offers guided travel in small groups with a focus on the differing travel styles (family, classic, adventure, culture, 18 to 30 somethings, wellness, etc). And, it's all offered for a low to moderate budget.
Check out this company for those not looking to blow their budget on an Abercrombie and Kent trip or for a college kid looking for a budget minded experience.
Also, their site is a good resource for travel info (restrictions, visas, etc,)

This no frills website offers packages in the USA, Canada, Mexico, and Caribbean. You can search easily by who's going (family, adults only, pride), level of service (all inclusive, my time), or interest (food and wine, spa and golf, romance).
It's a good place to go for that client that wants an all inclusive to relax or for those bachelorette parties.
It also has hotels through Europe and South America but it's random and probably not worth your time. [link]

PLEASANT HOLIDAYS

This company puts together packages and allows you a reasonable amount of control in putting together your own package.
They also offer Norwegian cruises, group travel (ability to book on separate cards and per person), and vacation rentals in popular destinations.
Also, our commission is one of the highest here, so it's worth a look.
Locations are not necessarily limited, but there are not a ton of options in each location. It's like shopping at a Walmart Market vs. the Walmart Superstore.
A highlight destination/niche is the all inclusive's in the Caribbean and Mexico.

There is great value to be found with this company as you get a lot for the money and it's very reasonably priced to begin with.
They tend to focus on a good mix on the highlights in a region as well as some local and authentic experiences mixed in.
They offer trips everywhere except the Arctic and Antarctica.
